Background Verification (BGV) Check
All offers of employment at any company are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check verification (BGV).
Background check gives the company basic insights into a candidate’s financial, criminal and identity background which reflects the truthfulness of the information they have shared with the company. This is generally a part of external recruitment process of verification of the data and the exercise is carried out discreetly by the consulting agencies / recruitment firms on behalf of the organisation. These checks should be carried out on all candidates to whom an offer has been made for employment regardless of roles and responsibilities. They would be informed of the background checks as company’s policy per se and they must give authorisation to that effect. Failure to agree
may mean, their offer might be withdrawn.
